First Grade Weekly Note May 6, 2021 Christ Light- Opposite! The Maunday Thursday night Peter disowned Jesus 3 times. Fast forward 52 days and he gets up and preaches a powerful sermon. The Holy Spirit had filled him with courage and confidence. As God’s Word was preached the believers were cut to the heart, filled with sorrow over their sin. Peter also proclaimed the sweet message of Christ and over 3000 people were baptized that day. May we use every opportunity to study God’s Word and let the Holy Spirit do his work of strengthening our faith!
