Each year I love spending some time studying aviation and the history of flight. Our proximity to EAA certainly inspired me! Today, Aaron and Laura Lane, visited the class and told us a bit about what they do as air traffic controllers in Oshkosh. (Their daughter Sophie is in 2nd grade here). We also assembled our cardboard gliders! (Thank you Reid and family for the generous donation). Tomorrow we will add the stickers and give them a test flight at 1:30 on the playground. Tonight, complete the page I sent home with your child about one aspect of flight history. It is due Friday. Email if you have questions. We will arrange them like a timeline and then assemble a class book. 3rd Grade Play This afternoon we watched the third grade musical “Go West.” Their performance is tonight at 5:30.
