Happy Reformation!

We have enjoyed singing vs 1 of A Mighty Fortress is our God in the past 2 weeks.  Did you see the "fortress" we drew last week?  We also reviewed a bit of Martin Luther history.  How grateful we are for the truth of God free and full salvation in Christ!

Christ Light:  Story 11A  Jesus Calms the Storm
MT  Mt 11:28  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.

Reading:  We started our new unit in Superkids.  Leveled books were sent home tonight.

Spelling:  We started learning our new pattern words and memory words, too.

Math:  Balance scale.  We counted pennies as we added them to our balance to see "How many pennies does this object weigh?"
Do LESSON 39 tonight.

Social Studies:  We studied maps today.  Ask to see the compass rose and read the 4 directions.  Take a peek at the map and map key on the back.

I read my favorite "Bumpkin the Pumpkin" story today. Bumpkin changed colors as he wished to be other vegetables in the garden.
