Kids A-Z I have peeked at everyone’s progress in this reading app.  I have adjusted levels to match their current ability.  The kids listen to a digital book, read it alone and then answer 5 comprehension questions.  I will be monitoring this more closely second semester and expect to see the kids moving independently into higher levels.  Your kids may do this app at home, too.

Spirit Week  is next week.  See the school newsletter for the special clothing dates.  Monday is Comfy Cozy (PJ) Day. :)

Mr. Ben Wolff was in our class on Wednesday all day.  He is a Faith and WLA grad who is studying Education at UW Eau Claire.  He did a great job!

Our 100th Day of School is on Monday, Jan 29th.  We will have special events that day if you want to plan to attend.

Spingle Spangle Talent Show  The 1st grade will have a classroom Talent Show on Friday, Jan 26 at 1:00 PM (Visit Faith Day).  Each child will get an opportunity to perform a talent (read a new poem, tell jokes, play piano, jump rope, show something he/she made and tell about it… a science demonstration, recipe or art).

First Grade Jump Rope Show that night, too. Jan 26 about 5:15 during half time of the B Boys BB game.
