MONDAY Recap!

Farewell November.  The room will have several changes tomorrow to welcome the new month and the Advent season.

Today it was fun to be back together and share about our long Thanksgiving weekend.  Ask "Who went to the Dells"  "Who had a birthday party"  (2 kids).  "Who watched movies with grandparents?"
Bible:  Read The Plagues, story 1B.  Memory Treasure:   Ps 14:1a  The  fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

Superkids:  We started unit 7 today.  The new words are on the back of the homework chart.  New books came home in the ziplocs, too.  Our new words have the silent, super e at the end to make the vowel sound long.

Science:  We started a new unit on Simple Machines.  Today we talked about "work" and "force."  Tomorrow we will discuss and create levers.

Math:  54B  Our lesson was on symmetry.  Ask to the  the tree your child drew and cut.  It is the same on both sides!   We practiced our mental math facts, too.

A December calendar was sent home.  Please sign the church attendance form for Thanksgiving worship and Sunday worship.  Thanks.
