Hooray! I was happy to get back to class today and see all my little friends. They were super excited to share all their spring break adventures, too.
I have signed up our class for the Fine Arts Fair this Friday night. All the kids will have 2 pieces of art work hanging on the hallway walls. We will also practice and perform a HANDBELL SONG for the judges at 6:30 in the gym. I hope most can make this, but attendance is not a must.
It is National Library Week! Our library is "Under construction" this week so I can upgrade it. I am also beginning to "laminate" our books. I can give you a quick tutorial if you would like to help do this at home. Thanks. The books last much longer if they are covered.
Notepads! Each child received a personalized notepad today from Mrs. Murtha. We recently wrote her cards and she was so grateful she gave each of us a gift from her print shop. Sweet! I intend to send these home.
Fond du Lac Summer School! Registration is open for Summer School. It is three weeks in June from 8-11:30. It is open to all children in the district. I have taught it two different summers and really enjoyed it. This summer I am not teaching, however. The sites are Chegwin, Evans and Riverside Elementary. Remedial and Enrichment classes are offered. Breakfast and lunch are also served (FREE)! Let me know if you would like more info or would like to sign your child up. The info can also be found on the school district web site.
Blessings, Mrs. W
