Happy December

Christ Light:  Read 2A The Passover.  The Israelites followed God's command to put blood on the door frames so the angel of death would "passover" their homes and spare the life of the oldest son.  We discussed how Jesus is our Lamb.  His blood washed away our sins.
MT  John 1:29b  Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Read:  Library book.   Today we read the poem "Today I Got a Gift."  Icky gets a pet fish.  The class also got a pet fish today.  We named him Finely!

Math:  Lesson 56  Odd and even numbers

Science:  Sound energy today.  We discussed high and low pitch, and vibrations.  Ask about the many "instruments" I made and then played. 

Gym:  Jumping rope.  Today we worked on partner jumping (two people, one rope).
