Good afternoon,

Christ Light:  Review of story 8A.  Doubting Thomas.  He wanted to see Jesus.  We talked about how there is a blindfold on our hearts at times and our faith is weak.  May we continue to search the Word and see Jesus there!

Read:  Book Bag book

Math:  Test today.

Spelling:  Test today.

Science:  I did a model of the sun (flashlight) and earth.  The sun stays still, while the earth slowly spins around to make day and night.  I also used a rule and moving flashlight to show how/why shadows get longer and shorter.  We had a great time measuring our shadows at different times of the day yesterday outside on the playground.

Writing: We wrote a poem today. It is on the back side of our Christ Light page if you want to see your child's.

I read "Zen Socks" aloud to the class.  Ask about it.
