Faith Alive The school newsletter will be sent out today. It is loaded with information!
Math: The kids are excited to begin learning math facts. We each began our collection of flashcards with the “doubles.” New math stations include: 1) Make a Number 2) ipads
3) Double Color 4) Double Bingo 5) Money game (coins).
Science: We are finishing up our study of plants. I even learned some things, so I know your children did. The interest in plants never waned, either. Next week we will start a social studies unit.
Grand Day is tomorrow. It starts at 12:30. We (whole school) will sing two songs for the “grands” in church, then travel with them to various stations set up in the school, church and gym. Each child in our class is to bring a snack item to share (pretzels, popcorn or snack mix).
Bookworm Gardens: What a GREAT field trip. Thank you, drivers. I sent an email with many pictures and posted some to the blog.
Please save 32 oz yogurt or cottage cheese containers. Send them in clean and empty with the lids. Thanks. We will begin storing our math items (like flash cards and coins) in them.
