Tool Tuesday!

Christ Light:  We reviewed Jesus in the Temple

Reading:  The kids took their first standardized reading test on the ipad today.  The process went very well.  We will send results home next week.  Tomorrow we will take the math test.

Superkids:  We finished Welcome Back Superkids, our introduction.  Tomorrow we will start with the Level 3 (textbook) curriculum.

Math:  Lesson 14B

Science:  We talked some about tools and how they help us meet needs.  Ask what cool tool I brought.  Everyone used it.  :)
Animal groups:  We  also started a lesson on animal groups.  Can your child name any of the 6?  Mammal, reptile, insect, fish, amphibian, and bird. We did some fun things on the Smartboard and everyone chose one animal group to do a further study on.  The Animal Page was sent home today.  It is due on Friday.  We will make a class book with it.

A library book was sent home.
