Christ Light: We reviewed The Brother's Return to Egypt. Joseph tested them to see if they were showing love and kindness to Benjamin. When they passed, he revealed his true identity as their brother. We talked about how it can be hard to forgive people who are mean to us over and over, but that is what God does for us. He forgives us when we sin over and over. May we look to him for forgiveness and motivation!
Reading: Book Bags tonight
Math: Test today. No homework. Great math stations, too.
Social studies: New unit on Our Community.
Writing: LOTS today. We wrote stories based on a character we imagined. The stories had a problem and solution.
We also wrote Thank You Cards for this weekend's Abound services.
