Happy Reformation!

We had a great time discussing the play we saw yesterday during Bible time.  The kids really enjoyed the play.  These are some comments shared today.  "All the brothers bowed down." "The brothers finally knew it was Joseph."  "Jacob came down to Egypt."  "The music sounds just like my (professional) CD."  These are the parts that we didn't like so much in the play.  "Joseph got put in the pit."  "When he was put in jail." "Potiphar took him away."

Reading:  Read Superkids "The Monster Under the Bus"

New 5th Grade Book Buddies today.

We celebrated the Reformation (and Halloween) this afternoon in our devotion, by singing "A Mighty Fortress is Our God," and by playing a sight word Bingo game.  Many of our spelling words were in  the game.  THANK YOU Angie Kramer for the cookies during the game.  Thank you Makenzi P for the treats at the end of the day.
