Tuesday

Bible:  Review of The Israelites Return Home.

Reading:  We listened to books on CD, non-fiction texts that go with our Superkids.

Math:  We reviewed with Smartboard activities and the ipad.  No homework.

English: The kids are understanding sentences and fragments quite well.  We  also reviewed using periods.

Writing:  I brought playdough for everyone today.  We all created something quietly, behind our "offices," folders for privacy.  Then we revealed and walked around the "art museum."  Next, we made another creation after inspiration from our friends and walked around the "art museum," again.    Then, we wrote about our two creations and tried to use lots of descriptive words.

Tossing and catching with container "scoops"  has been great for hand eye coordination and a less competitive game for recess.
