Happy Friday!

We had a final busy day.  The kids did a nice job saying the Memory Treasure.  We reviewed the Bible lesson and talked about the promises God makes (send Savior), keeps (be with us) and doesn't make (new toys, or no sickness).

Poetry:  We read our Back to School poems a final time.  What fun to see how well we learned them this week.  We kept the page in our folder at school.  New poems next week. :)

Superkids:  Today we reviewed more letter and read a short story "The Flat Cat."

Math:  We did lesson 4 A&B, so no homework.

Spanish:  We did an introduction to Spanish with basic phrases.  "Hola"  Adios.   Como to llamas? (What is your name).  Me llamo es ___________.  Como estas?  (How are you?)  Estoy ______.
Bien (good).  Asi, asi (OK), Mal (bad).

Art:  Ask about our Sunglasses project.  We will finish it next week.

Whiffle Ball.  Everyone played whiffle ball at lunch recess.  Everyone batted and hit the ball.  Mrs. G and I had two games going, so playing time increased.  :)

Please empty your child's folder so it is ready for next week.
